Itinerary
Segment 1: South America – Andean Heritage (Days 1-8)
Day 1: Lima, Peru – Arrival at a boutique hotel in Miraflores. Orientation briefing and welcome ceviche tasting with Pacific Ocean views.
Day 2: Lima – Guided tour of colonial Larco Museum and Barranco’s vibrant arts scene. Free afternoon for coastal promenade strolls.
Day 3: Cusco & Sacred Valley (Flight: 1.5 hours) – Acclimatization in the Andes. Visit Pisac’s vibrant market and Ollantaytambo’s Inca fortress.
Day 4: Machu Picchu (Train: 2 hours) – Sunrise exploration of the UNESCO-listed citadel via a short Inca Trail segment. Guided historical tour and quiet reflection time.
Day 5: Cusco – San Pedro market visit and Quechua weaving workshop. Evening discussion on Andean cosmology (non-ingestive).
Day 6: Lake Titicaca (Flight to Juliaca: 1 hour; Boat: 3 hours) – Uros floating islands homestay. Reed boat experience and Taquile Island textile demonstration.
Day 7: Lake Titicaca – Amantani Island cultural exchange and stargazing with local storytellers. Return to Puno.
